Umm Al Quwain Police General Command has partnered with smart government department to launch a robocop that will investigate crimes against children. The robocop was provided with an official police badge on Monday to make it fully legal and authentic member of the Umm Al Quwain Police department.
The commander-in-chief of Umm Al Quwain Police, Major General Sheikh Rashid Bin Ahmed Al Mualla inaugurated the first job card for this detective robot. After three years of extensive research and diligence, the robot finally started working on October 3. Many tests were performed on it on various parameters and the robot responded quite professionally and as per the expected standards. It has been trained and designed to investigate matters on children’s crimes on which it gave some impressive results.
The department has now decided to launch this detective robotok for ground-level performance where it will be further evaluated on different metrics. The UAE’s government has been emphasizing much on digitalized solutions for its citizens. Various initiatives and events have been launched and are duly supported by the government to promote technological innovations in the country. If everything goes fine, the government can think upon launching few more robocops that can help the police department in getting instant solutions in crimes against children and women.
