Young gamers in Dubai are going to arrange a competition of digital regional eSports games sponsored by Worldwide brands as they desired to address their names in the multi-billion-dollar gaming industry. Indian origin Saad Khan expressed his thought that a “huge opportunity” was created in promoting eSports in this region four years ago; the time when game lovers crowding into continuously blooming cyber cafes in Dubai.
Khan has a strong connection with technology, decided to form Gamers Hub Media Events (GHME) to organize all tournaments of eSports in North Africa and the Middle East. This 45-years old CEO, Khan stated that they are here for game lovers, sponsors, and most importantly they have come to provide a top-class gaming experience.
In order to lessen the dependency on the oil economy of the United Arab Emirates, this young expat decided to motivate the soft power sectors like technology and sports. The global interactive media industry and gaming industry has grown up 12 percent to reach $139.9 billion in the previous year’s record, published by Nielsen, a US-based data analytics organization.
